Teams

A Team in CargoPilot is a subdivision of a Company, allowing businesses to organize their operations across multiple regions or departments. Since only one Company can be created per business in CargoPilot, the Teams feature is essential for managing operations across different locations.

Purpose of Teams​

For example, if a Company like CargoPilot operates in multiple countries, it can create separate Teams for each location:

  • A Team in the Netherlands will have access to all bookings, orders, and addresses related to the Netherlands.
  • A Team in Belgium will only see its own bookings, orders, and addresses, completely separate from the Netherlands team.

Each Team operates in an isolated environment, ensuring that data is not shared between teams unless explicitly required. This structure prevents cross-region data mixing and allows businesses to manage different locations efficiently.

Creating a Team​

Teams can be created directly within CargoPilot via the navbar at the top right. From there, users can manage team settings, define access permissions, and maintain operational independence within their Company.

By utilizing Teams, CargoPilot provides a structured way to manage regional branches, departments, or separate operational units while maintaining data integrity and control.
