Companies

Companies can register to gain access to the platform. A Company is a registered business that utilizes CargoPilot to quote and book air freight via direct API connections with airlines and utilizing your IATA/CASS.

Registration and Verification Process​

When a Company signs up, it must go through a verification process to ensure authenticity and security:

  1. Email Verification – The user that registers the Company must verify its personal business email address, every domain must be unique and genuine. CargoPilot checks whether email domains are non-disposable and accessible.
  2. General Information Form – Once email verification is completed, the Company is presented with a General Information Form.
    • This form must be completed before the Company can access CargoPilot.
    • This step ensures the security of CargoPilot and prevents fraudulent companies from registering.
  3. New Customer Agreement - The NCA is required to be signed by the new company to gain full access to CargoPilot.

Activation and Restrictions​

After a Company completes the registration process, the tenant has the option to activate or restrict access for that Company.

  • If a Company is not activated, it will still be able to request rates via the Custom Quote screen but will not be able to book shipments.
  • If activation is required before full access, this setting can be adjusted in Application Management under Settings.
  • The tenant must manually update the Active State of a registered Company to enable full functionality.

This ensures that only legitimate businesses can operate within CargoPilot while allowing tenants to control Company access based on their verification policies.

Access and Functionalities​

Once registration and verification are complete, a Company gains access to various features within CargoPilot:

  • Quote & Book – Companies can configure their own quotes based on their specific shipping requirements.
  • Manage Orders – Access detailed order information for tracking and follow-ups.
  • Address book – Save and modify frequently used addresses for faster quote & book processing.
  • Change company variables – Enhance the company look and feel through CargoPilot's environment settings.
