Agents

In CargoPilot, defining agents can help the customer understand which party is involved with the shipment order from port to door (DAP). This creates full transparency for both parties. The agent will be displayed in the order overview and the order confirmation when booking a new quote.

Agent fields

Company information

  • Name
  • Address
  • City
  • State
  • Postal code
  • Country

Contact information

  • Contact name
  • Email
  • Phone number
  • Timezone
  • Open time
  • Closing time

Airport selection

  • DAP airport

In the airport selection list, only DAP airports (defined in the Airports section of the admin panel) are displayed.

Creating an agent

  1. Navigate to the admin panel
  2. Navigate to Application management > Agents
  3. Click Create Agent located top-right of the table
  4. Fill in all required fields
  5. Click Create Agent

Editing an agent

  1. Navigate to the admin panel
  2. Navigate to Application management > Agents.
  3. Select a agent record
  4. Click the edit icon, located top-right of the page
  5. Fill in all required fields
  6. Click Update Agent

Duplicating an agent

  1. Navigate to the admin panel
  2. Navigate to Application management > Agents.
  3. Select a agent record
  4. Click the three dots icon, located top-right of the page
  5. Click Replicate

Deleting an agent

  1. Navigate to the admin panel
  2. Navigate to Application management > Agents.
  3. Select a agent record
  4. Click the three dots icon, located top-right of the page
  5. Click Delete Resource
  6. Confirm the deletion of the resource
