Orders
An Order in CargoPilot is created when a customer finalizes a quote request and proceeds with booking. Each Order consists of multiple individual bookings, depending on the shipment type.
Structure of an Order
An Order serves as an overarching record that contains multiple bookings. For example, if a customer books a door-to-door shipment, the system will create a single Order with three separate bookings:
- Pre-transport (Pickup from the shipper to the airport)
- Air Freight (Main transport via air)
- Post-transport (Delivery from the airport to the consignee)
Managing an Order
Users can manage their Orders by navigating to the Orders section within CargoPilot. Each Order includes the following details:
- Track & Trace Information – Real-time tracking updates for all linked bookings.
- Uploaded Documentation – Documents uploaded by the Company for a specific booking.
- CargoPilot Documentation – Any additional documents added by CargoPilot will also be made available to the customer.
- CPNL Number – Each Order is automatically assigned a unique CPNL number.
- This number allows for quick identification and issue resolution within the Admin Panel.
By structuring shipments into Orders and Bookings, CargoPilot ensures seamless tracking, document management, and issue resolution for every shipment.
