Bookings

A Booking in CargoPilot represents an individual transport segment within an Order. As mentioned in the Orders section, an Order can consist of multiple Bookings, typically structured as:

  • Air Freight (Mandatory) – The core transport segment of every order.
  • Pre-transport – Transport from the shipper to the departure airport.
  • Post-transport – Transport from the arrival airport to the consignee.

Booking Details

Each Booking contains critical shipment details, including:

  • Air Waybill Number (AWB) – Assigned to the Air Freight Booking.
  • Transport Reference Number – Assigned to the Pre-transport or Post-transport bookings.
    • These numbers can be manually defined, except for air freight, where the AWB number is required.

Live Track & Trace Updates

Every Booking is updated in real time with Live Track & Trace push notifications. This functionality is enabled at the tenant level, ensuring that shipments can be monitored throughout the entire logistics process.

By structuring shipments into Orders and Bookings, CargoPilot enables clear tracking, efficient management, and seamless transport coordination.
